As producers of Television and Film Drama, we have a commitment to develop new writing and original ideas, bringing fresh drama to the screen. Our first drama film, Skin Deep by Terry Flaxton, was completed in 2000 and was a winner of the Western Lights screenwriting competition funded by ITV and the Film Council. Shot on digiBeta, it then transferred to 35mm it was shortlisted for the 2001 BAFTA Short Film Award Nominations. Recent successes include: the 35mm screening of Forever (dir: Terry Flaxton) in competition at the Seagate Foyle Film Festival and now in the Plymouth Independent Film Festival MA USA; the screening of Ladies (dir: Carol Stevens) in competition at the Brest Short Film Festival. Both shorts are shortly to be screened on Propeller TV. We have a number of feature film projects at various stages of development: Human Remains won a South West Script Award in April 2005 and will be going into production in autumn 2006. Our latest documentary production is: Botanical Wonders, commissioned for ITV and screened in October 2005 (repeated March 2006). |
